Ellips Hair Vitamin

You know naman that I’m a sucker for not-so-mainstream brands and good finds, kaya naman when I saw this weird looking hair treatment ay binili ko na – Ellips Hair Vitamin (with Jojoba Oil). Hoping that my hair will at least improve its texture, I decided to try these small capsules before shifting to other bottled Hair Serum.

Instructions:

  1. Clean your hair and let it half dry
  2. Open one / two Ellips capsules onto your hand, or as much as needed
  3. Wipe onto your hair thoroughly
  4. Leave it dry

I was able to try two packs of Ellips and noticed that my hair improved a bit. And just like other Hair Spa solution, you need to use this product constantly to maintain the effect. I really liked how its rose scent sticks to my hair. It leaves a moist feeling which I think is the effect of the Jeje Jojoba Oil.

Will I buy another pack of this hair vitamin? Perhaps no. Since I have long and thick hair, I need to consume 3 capsules at a time. There are only 6 capsules per pack costing 52 pesos and I think it’d be cheaper if I just use bottled Hair Spa solution with a price of 200-300.

But quality-wise, Ellips Hair Vitamin is okay and it really smells good. :)

Paper Soap

Have you ever gone to wash your hands in a public restroom, only to find out there’s no soap? Lagi naman diba! Unless nalang na isa-sacrifice mo ang barya mo for paid restrooms na kumpleto ang bathroom needs. So most of us just use alcohol or hand sanitizer gels. But this afternoon while looking for a decent hand sanitizer, these packs at the soaps section caught my attention because I thought they’re condoms. Lol. But no, they’re packs of dissolving Paper Soaps.

At dahil isa akong malaking usi, I bought 2 different scents of different brands to try it myself – Glam Works Lavender and Silk Secrets Rose scent.

After trying the product, I recommend it as a must-have in your bag if you’re not satisfied with hand sanitizers. They’re both easy to lather up while washing. Paper soaps may not be as convenient as liquid sanitizers but they’re more handy and hygienic than the regular soap. Each pack with 15 soap sheets only costs 11.75 pesos and available in Watson’s.

Kustie Scrub Jam

Look what I got in the mail last weekend…

For someone like me who doesn’t have time to go to the spa, it’s really convenient to buy beauty products that can give you that ultimate spa feeling even when you’re at home. Thanks to Kustie Scrub Jam. It is a 100% natural Body scrub formulated in France that exfoliates dead skin cells for a smoother and silkier skin.

After cleansing my body, I used the Kustie Body Scrub for exfoliation. You can really feel the granules scrubing your skin unlike other body scrubs with smooth texture. I also like its sweet smell that sticks to your skin. Sa sobrang bango nya, parang gusto ko na syang ipalaman sa tinapay. Haha. Perhaps my only complain is its packaging. I think it’d be less messy if the packaging is in tubes.

For best results, applying body butter is better after exfoliating with the body scrub. What I like about Kustie Body Butter is it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. The result is smooth, matte and silky skin that lasts the whole day. Honestly, I’m a lotion person (WHUT?), so I’m really not into body butter. But after trying Kustie’s Body Butter, I just realized that I need this because it feels lighter on the skin compared to lotion. Whether you have dry, normal or oily skin, I think that this product is right for you.

Kustie Scrub Jam is FDA approved and is currently available at selected outlets of Watsons Malls, SM Beauty Department store, Robinsons Supermarket, Ever Gotesco department store, St Lucia and other major retail outlets. So for vain girls and boys out there, you can try the Kustie Body Scrub Jam and enjoy an inexensive DIY spa. (Price info shown below:)

Kustie facial scrub 200mL : 379.00
Kustie body scrub 200mL : 349.00
Kustie body scrub 450mL : 599.00
Kustie body butter 200mL : 299.00

And wait, there’s more! Aside from Kustie’s Honey + Almond scent, you can aslo choose among different variants – Strawberry, Papaya, Cucumber, Coconut and Apricot.

Kustie Scrub Jam is indeed worth a try. I bet you’ll get addicted pampering yourself with their body scrub and butter. Also, it’s a good gift idea this Christmas!

Bumpits

I’m really fascinated with high volume updos and before, I wondered how hair stylists do it neatly. I usually tease my hair and just apply gel to achieve this look (like Blair Waldorf’s ^), but after a few hours it flattens back easily.

Thanks to my sister, she gave me these hair inserts called Bumpits that can do fab hairstyles in just seconds, now I know the secret! I prefer volumized hair because it complements my face structure so these Bumpits are a big help for me. It comes in a package (small, medium and large). It also includes a booklet of step by step instructions for different hair styles.

Please ignore my silly smiley face. Haha! As of now, I think Bumpits are only available through Home TV Shopping. (So this post doesn’t help you at all, just pure vanity. Lol.)
