Military Jacket

At first, I didn’t quite appreciate that military style of jacket can be a fashion trend. First, it’s not weather friendly. Second, aside from sporting a PMA look, I feel that wearing a military coat will make me look like a member of a marching band.

I thought it’s not wearable for me until I saw this piece from Balmain’s Spring 2010 collection. Lovely!

Michael Jackson is indeed a fashion trend-setter for influencing the runways with his fashion statement – the Military Jacket which is perfect for skinny bodies. But on the jologs version, I can label this as the Vice Ganda look.

Love Calculator

Because of the divorce rumors, they may not be that perfect.

Obviously…

Some things are just not meant to be.

Shet, i knew it.

Step aside, polyvore! ‘coz here comes looklet!

Since everyone’s talking about it, might as well create my fashion sets. Although, I noticed that people who have been using this app are too preoccupied with their personal styles. So for a change, I created sets inspired by our local street fashion…

Ayala Makati Girl

Classic Emo

The Quiapo Vendor

Cosplayer
(Kahit walang cosplay event, some teenagers dress up like this. Marami neto sa mall.)

The Carlo J Caparas Look

Ahahaha. This website wasted 2 hours of my time. I just hope they’ll also have an option for guys. Try it yourself.

Tagalog Pocketbooks

Filed under cheap thrills, pinoy jologs culture

One time I was roaming around in National Bookstore to buy something. I noticed that one bookshelf contains some Tagalog Pocketbooks like the Precious Hearts Romances brand. I told myself, ‘uy, eto yung nasa TV a’. So I opened one of them wondering how their stories are written. Some people passing my side were smiling as they see me reading the pocketbook. Siguro kasi parang anjologs lang. But then I realized that the cover has a picture of a naked man with Machete muscles. Nyaaaah. Nakakahiya!

Kissing couples? Bed scene?

“People call me ‘Enchong,’ but you can call me ‘yours.’”

BWAHAHA! Ambabaduy.

Online Paper Dolls

Despite of my Polly Pocket and Barbie collection when I was a kid, I still went crazy over those tigpi-pisong Paper Dolls. Those lame cardboards actually triggered my kikay calling. I just loved how I can mix and match colorful dresses. I even trade my paper dresses with my girl classmates before.

Come to think of it, the colorful dresses printed on paperdolls are actually baduy in real life. Haha! So it’s good to know that there are websites designed to create online paperdolls at your fingertips… and yes, with style. I made these myself on polyvore

You can make your own set based on what’s in your closet. In a way, you can organize your look for the day. Thanks to Ketie for sharing. :D

The Medical City Partner Card

Kasalukuyan akong nilalagnat at may sakit… which reminds me of my TMC Partner Card.

Does that mean I have to get sick more often so I can avail the reward points? Of course that’s the initial reaction but I think it covers other hospital services like x-ray, check ups, etc. Haha!

Anyway, everyone around me is sick. I hope we get well soon. :)

Ukay Ukay Baguio

For my friends: ito ang dahilan kung bakit hindi ako nakasama sa Matabungkay…

Hindi dahil sa aso! Ungas! Nasa Baguio ako…

…and since I’m already familiar with the sites here, I decided to dedicate my short weekend trip to window shop instead.

I was curious why Baguio is popular for its Ukay Ukay stores so I patiently checked for some good finds. I was actually surprised that a lot of things are authentic Prada, Burberry, Gucci etc. – though most of them are old and already used. :S

Just a warning for some Ukay shoppers; don’t be faked with some displayed high-priced items. I noticed that some designer bags are sold for 3k and above but after “scrutinizing” them, they’re just imitations.

It’s fun though. I think I consumed 3 hours roaming around the Ukay stores and I ended up buying 1 item for 100 pesos; which unfortunately, looked like an apron when I fitted it in the hotel.  Haha! Wretched. :(

Artista Shades

I was wondering, why not try Scarf? Headband? o Baseball Cap para maiba naman?

Or maybe they just learned something when Kris Aquino appeared in public without make-up or shades with the Joey Marquez incident, she looked so ordinary…

Wahaha!

As if.

Facebook Tagalog Quiz

Akshuli, I had no plans of updating my blog today. I was focusing on other things like some personal stuff, projects and facebook-ing. And while facebook-ing, then again, I was disturbed by one of those senseless Tagalog Quizzes displaying on my inbox…

Wahaha! Haha!

Kaya ayun, I tried this also… and got the same result. Lol.

Say hello to my sosyal friend V, and her pictures below show a mere definition of Jologs Socialite moment:

LV bag and Chanel shades vain photos were taken for her photoblog. The funny thing is, she just realized she was wearing this Champion Detergent shirt after transferring the pics from her cam. Parang ironic. Wahaha!

Thanks for lending the pictures. Winner!
