Go Fickle Manila

It’s vacation time and it’s time to hit the beach in our summer clothes. There are lots of mall brands to choose from but not everyone has the time to shop before their getaway date. Good thing there are online shops that save our time and effort. Before, I don’t shop online because I’m hesitant about choosing the size or if the seller’s legit, but I noticed that certain online shops sell unique styles I’ve been looking for that are not available in the malls. One online brand you can try is Go Fickle Manila. I personally like their Fickle Sandals because of its interchangeable straps.

The Fickle Flats and Fickle Wedges are basically sandals with straps that can be interchanged. To date, there are 17 ways (and counting) on how to tie the straps. Ergo, one can have unlimited pairs of sandals/slippers by just purchasing one pair of Fickle Flats and/or Fickle Wedge, making it a very practical buy. Also, the in-soles of their Fickle Flats and Fickle Wedges are made of very soft inside foam for maximum comfort.

The Fickle Flats and Fickle Wedges come in sets. The Prime Set (Php750 and Php1050, respectively) can be considered as a “starter set”, as this set consists a pair of Fickle soles and two (2) pairs of Fickle straps, customer’s choice. The Posh Set (Php1050 and Php1350, respectively), on the other hand, is the “practical set” since the set includes a pair of Fickle soles and six (6) pairs of Fickle straps. There is an extra charge per extra pair of Fickle straps, so clients will be able to save almost Php200-400 when they purchase the Posh Set instead of the Prime Set.

To see more of their products (tote bags & summer clothes), visit GoFickle Manila’s Facebook or simply send an e-mail at gofickle@gmail.com.

Swimwear Cover Ups

You have no idea how much I’ve been trying to lose weight lately just to reduce my stomach fat, syempre, it’s bikini season na. But since I only have few weeks left before my summer getaways (at dahil masarap kumain), I think I just have to stick on wearing cover ups to conceal my flabs instead of starving myself.

I’m currently in search for the perfect cover up, and for everyone’s reference, here are my picks.

Floral

Kustie Scrub Jam

Look what I got in the mail last weekend…

For someone like me who doesn’t have time to go to the spa, it’s really convenient to buy beauty products that can give you that ultimate spa feeling even when you’re at home. Thanks to Kustie Scrub Jam. It is a 100% natural Body scrub formulated in France that exfoliates dead skin cells for a smoother and silkier skin.

After cleansing my body, I used the Kustie Body Scrub for exfoliation. You can really feel the granules scrubing your skin unlike other body scrubs with smooth texture. I also like its sweet smell that sticks to your skin. Haha. Perhaps my only complain is its packaging. I think it’d be less messy if the packaging is in tubes.

For best results, applying body butter is better after exfoliating with the body scrub. What I like about Kustie Body Butter is it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. The result is smooth, matte and silky skin that lasts the whole day. Honestly, I’m a lotion person (WHUT?), so I’m really not into body butter. But after trying Kustie’s Body Butter, I just realized that I need this because it feels lighter on the skin compared to lotion. Whether you have dry, normal or oily skin, I think that this product is right for you.

Kustie Scrub Jam is FDA approved and is currently available at selected outlets of Watsons Malls, SM Beauty Department store, Robinsons Supermarket, Ever Gotesco department store, St Lucia and other major retail outlets. So for vain girls and boys out there, you can try the Kustie Body Scrub Jam and enjoy an inexensive DIY spa. (Price info shown below:)

Kustie facial scrub 200mL : 379.00
Kustie body scrub 200mL : 349.00
Kustie body scrub 450mL : 599.00
Kustie body butter 200mL : 299.00

And wait, there’s more! Aside from Kustie’s Honey + Almond scent, you can aslo choose among different variants – Strawberry, Papaya, Cucumber, Coconut and Apricot.

Kustie Scrub Jam is indeed worth a try. I bet you’ll get addicted pampering yourself with their body scrub and butter. Also, it’s a good gift idea this Christmas!

Most Pirated Fashion Brands

Everything gets pirated now and pirated things are now everywhere. Sa divisoria, tiangge, mga bangketa… and even online. Lol. Personally speaking, I am not a fan of pirated brands or replicas as mentioned on some older posts. Though I know some people buy them unintentionally just because of the cheap price and availability. Here are the most pirated brands this season. (Dahil ang mga namimirata ay nakiki-uso din.)

Louis Vuitton – anything LV should be on the top of the list.

Havaianas – from Havanas to Hawaianas and other derivations.

Crocs - even the ugliest shoes on earth get pirated.

Le Sportsac - you might not like the funky patterns and coloful prints so some of you might think the bags are actually cheap. Le Sportsac replicas are sold in Divisoria for 100 pesos and the original bags cost a thousand in Rustan’s.

D&G Belt – the bigger the D&G buckle, the better.

Lacoste Shirt – someone already asked me how to spot a fake Lacoste shirt.

Calvin Klein Brief - 3 for 100 na brief.

Wenk.

Some replicate brands were made that good you can’t even distinguish if they’re fake or not. Not because a designer bag costs 10k on an online store, it doesn’t mean it’s original na. The best way to avoid knock-offs is to still buy at authentic stores and do a little research on the real prices.
