Hi, my name is Leyn, owner of Sosyalera.net. I came with the pseudo-name Sosyalera to have a distinct one-word title associated with my previous blog, Jologs Socialite. I started blogging since year 2000 in LiveJournal with “friends only” setting. I migrated to blogspot last year and decided to make it a public reading though my early entries were too personal, exposed or more like a teeny-bopper’s diary.

Jologs Socialite originated when my friends labeled me as Lasallistang Jologs because of my cowboy, outgoing and happy-go-lucky traits. And they love me for that.

I took up college in 3 different schools - graduated in Makati, procrastinated in Katipunan, and pursuing my Major in Taft. As of now, I’m a full time professional bum and part time runway bitch. I’m a busy person though my social life keeps me alive. I love reading fashion magazines and window shopping when I’m broke (Haha). I dig for good movies and fine dining. I try to be with my friends once in a while but I usually consume my whole weekend sleeping.

I’m a self-confessed jologs and for people who question if I make money,

well I’m not rich. My parents are.

Honestly, it’s a challenge for me to get readers since I don’t allow comments on my entries. I don’t even display numbers (hit counter/visitors log) on my page because I want my blog status to be private. Also, I’m too lazy to blog hop on every page, make pa-cute on comments for others to visit my blog. In short, I’m not doing any desperate promotions because I’m not good at marketing myself.

So I’m very much thankful for my hidden supporters. I get to have readers because of word of mouth; of people who link me on their multiply pages and blogs without asking for exchange links. (Plus some pathetic guys who simply go here just because they find me pretty). I’m like having free endorsers without telling them to do so. Thank you and you guys know who you are.

Sosyalera.net tackles everything under the sun. I try to post short entries so I won’t bore my readers. My topics are mostly about fashion, Pinoy jologs culture, and personal ranting. My style of writing is ME. In case you’d notice that my approach is similar to other blogs, then it’s not intentional. Alloting 30 minutes of my time updating this site is enough to keep Sosyalera.net online. I’m not making this as a career like other bloggers, but I consider my blog as a healthy past time.

Practicing my Multimedia Major, I make sure that everything in my site is originally designed by me - from the banner and badges up to every image in single posts.

As a fashion noob, I get the most practical tips on how to look good in this blog, and I ain’t saying it just because I know the blog’s owner, but it really does help. I am actually gradually patching up some questions on how am I going to look more human the next time I go out and meet people.

Sosyalera is indeed a daily read. Even better than the fashion opinions are the personal tales of the author known as Lolit Solis a.k.a Leyn. Her stories make Sosyalera a better place for all mankind. It might actually save us from global warming in the coming years!
