Pekp*k Short

Nung minsang nasa loob ako ng isang CR sa mall ay may dalawang teenagers na casual na nag-uusap: Uy, mamaya bili tayo ng pekp*k shorts ha! At dahil sa inaakala kong bulgar na pananalita ay napatingin ako sa kanila nang masama.
Pekp*k shorts? WHAT?!
People, they’re called Daisy Dukes. Daisy Duke is actually a television character from the 1970s American series The Dukes of Hazzard, who popularized these form-fitting denim shorts.
It’s funny that here in the Philippines, these mini shorts were named after the tagalog word for vagina. How creative is that? It even has a facebook account. Kaso ansagwa talaga ng tawag. When shopping, would you ask the sales lady to direct you to the pekp*k shorts section? WTF!
Pero dahil sa likas na pagka-malikhain ng mga Pinoy, I won’t be surprised if someday, there will be a male counterpart of these shorts…
