Hi!
I really find your site helpful especially in the fashion section
I just want to ask what type of clothing can I wear in meeting “the parents”?
Thank you.
Trx
Dear Trx,
Good day! Basically, meeting “the parents” should leave a good impression so stay simple, that’s it. Although, your outfit should also portray your personality. For example, if you’re a girly gal, stick with a light sundress or any dainty clothing. Then if you’re the casual type of person, wear a blouse and slim jeans.
Pick light colors like pastel shades, white or peach. For an updated fashion, tulip dresses are all the rage this season.

Everyone can now feel the summer heat and February hasn’t even ended yet. So bring out your protective gears like umbrellas, sunblock and of course, sunglasses. Sunglasses or shades don’t just protect your eyes from the warmth of the sun; they can also serve as a fashion accessory or hide your crying eyes just like the artista shades.
Two-toned sunglasses are hip this year, whether they’re aviators, over-sized, or biker shades.

Hello Leyn,
Good day!! I’ve been reading your blog during the past week and I’m proud to say that I’ve read all your posts. Hahaha! Very informative at nakakaaliw yung mga banat mo.
Anyway, here goes my problem. This is Ann nga pala at ang aking simpleng pangalan ay kasing simple rin ng aking personality. I’m pretty much the shy kind of girl. Very simple lang rin ako manamit. Natutunan ko nga sa post mo na kung simple lang yung clothes, you can still make it fasionable by accessorizing. So right now, I’m thinking of improving my fashion sense through accessories. Gusto ko sanang humingi ng tips on how to pick the right kind of accessories for me and on which setting would it be appropriate.
I hope you can help me with this Leyn. It will be very much appreciated. Thank you and God bless you always.
Simple Ann
Dear Simple Ann,
I can’t believe you read all my posts. Seriously? From 2008? Lol. I hope you’ll visit my blog regularly. Thanks dear.
Anyhow, here it goes. Even though you wear plain blouses or dresses, accessories can do the trick on improving your look. So for the benefit of everyone, I’ll give simple tips on how to pick the basic accessories:

One thing I like about the trendy Ankle Cuff sandals is you can wear them with either casual shorts or formal dress.
PS. I didn’t cut my hair short.

Regardless of being practical, I’m a sucker for high-end fashion that’s why I draw inspiration from designers and magazines, either local or international. And as I was doing a bit of a fashion research, I discovered that Vogue Germany (March 2010 ish) has featured a timeless model, Claudia Schiffer, with a Monobrow look.
Monobrow = Parang isang mahabang kilay.
They say it’s Frida Kahlo-inspired, beautiful and fierce but seriously, it looks disturbing to me. I hope this Monobrow style won’t be a trend. It reminds me of someone from my childhood…

Because of the divorce rumors, they may not be that perfect.

Obviously…

Some things are just not meant to be.
Shet, i knew it.

Behold! The latest and most talked about fashion of this season…
Pick bright colors like yellow, orange or pink to stand out among the crowd. Take in mind to fit the right size to emphasize your figure and no worries because footwear isn’t necessary for this trend.
Chos! Just kidding. Talking about weird runway coutures, what the f*ck is that?!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. I know a lot of emo singles prefer to skip February because of this day but instead of sympathizing with bitter people, let’s give a chance to couples who are in love.
For those who are in a relationship, are you running out of valentine gift ideas? Tired of the same stuff? Chocolates? Flowers? That’s okay. But make sure to come up with something new from the usual love gifts. Here are a few gift suggestions, then and now.
Everyone loves Ferrero Rocher but just like fashion, go with the trend and give your loved one a box of Royce Chocolates instead.
No offense to teddy bears but they’re too common. I bet every girl (or boy) has their own collection of bears given by different people. Replace this idea with an interacting pet like a bunny or a handy tamagochi. Haha.
Girls are usually clueless on what gift should be perfect for their boyfriends. Think of something that he won’t just ignore or keep in his closet. If you have the budget, look for USB flash drive and portable mouse with Valentine-inspired designs. Cheesy, but at least techie.
Hallmark cards are touching and better than electronic greeting cards though a piece of personalized doodle is the best gift note that’s worth keeping…
…but if you include a gift certificate together with the doodle letter then that would be way huhmeyzing.
I think the value of Valentine gifts should be more on the quality rather than quantity (unlike Christmas and birthday gifts). Consumable and practical gifts are better than useless things that could just add up to your personal trash.
Take it from the expert. Lol.

This is not a film review of Paano na Kaya because obviously, the trailer itself already tells the plot of the movie. It’s just a conventional teenybopper love story with pick-up lines like “It’s not you Bogs, it’s me”.
Chura nyo! Lol.
Samantalang ako, ngiting-ngiti pang pumasok sa sinehan at may baon pang french fries with softdrinks. Haha.
Marami sa atin ang may ganitong attitude, kunwaring pa-arte in public. We’re all jologs in a way, please.
