I never denied that I religiously watch Tayong Dalawa despite of its heavy drama, never-ending deaths and Jake/Gerald’s bad acting.
Hahaha.)
*EDITED:
Speaking of Tayong Dalawa, here’s a picture of Gerald Anderson swimming in the flood to save his neighbors…
Tiagong Akyat turns to Tiagong Langoy! Huhmeyzing!
Oh well, I know everyone’s in grief right now because of Ondoy but I’d like to take this opportunity to ask my readers to help through our little ways. Let’s donate! Text RED (space) AMOUNT send to 2899(Globe)/4483(Smart). Denominations 10, 50, 100.
Keep safe everyone, and much love. – L

Step aside, polyvore! ‘coz here comes looklet!
Since everyone’s talking about it, might as well create my fashion sets. Although, I noticed that people who have been using this app are too preoccupied with their personal styles. So for a change, I created sets inspired by our local street fashion…

Ayala Makati Girl

Classic Emo

The Quiapo Vendor

Cosplayer
(Kahit walang cosplay event, some teenagers dress up like this. Marami neto sa mall.)

The Carlo J Caparas Look
Ahahaha. This website wasted 2 hours of my time. I just hope they’ll also have an option for guys. Try it yourself.

Dear Sosyalera,
If you’re going to look inside my closet, majority of my bottoms would probably be composed of JEANS. I’m comfy with jeans but I basically have troubles when pairing shoes with it. I’m just tired of using flats and slippers. I do know that when you wear jeans, it’s much better when you’re in heels but I just don’t know which style to choose. What can you probably suggest?
THANKS!
- Steppy
Dear Steppy
,
Jeans are comfort clothing so most of us pair them with our cosy flipflops. This fashion is very casual and laid back. I really admire girls who can manage to look stylish with jeans and don’t just stick with the usual pantalon porma.
Since you’ve decided to wear heels instead of the comfy flats, the next step is to choose for the right pair. If you want to reuse some of your (or your mom’s) stuffs, you might find these classic styles that don’t go out of date.

Who says bibs are just for babies?
Wenk, I didn’t mean something like that. But like this!
Fashion-wise, bibs are for grown ups too! Bib Necklaces were already spotted on designer runways few months ago, and this accessory is now becoming a fad as seen worn by local fashion icons. You can just lay this fashion accessory ‘as is’ with the simplest looking clothes and taaadaaa!!! you will instantly look sophisticated.
As of now, I think this kind of necklace is available in shops that sell vintage looking baubles. Now I want ONE! Oo, literal na one lang. Mahal eh. Haha.
Added to my Christmas wishlist!

Ahaha. Laugh trip. All I can say is, Eugene Domingo is more than a sidekick.

Hi Leyn! =)
Hehe. Anyways, may problema kasi ako. Kakapagupit ko lang kasi ng buhok. (see attached picture) And this time I decided na magpagupit ng as in maiksi. Naiinggit kasi ako sa buhok ni Nina. Haha! Last time ata na ganito kaiksi ang buhok ko eh nuong college ako. Since then, pinahaba ko na ang buhok ko.
The day na nagpagupit ako, gustong-gusto ko ung itsura ng buhok ko. Mega style kasi nung naggupit. Here comes the problem – naisip ko lang kasi. I’ve stried styling it on my own pero failure.
Haha. Pero sana ganun ako kayaman. LOL.
Thanks for reading my email & more power to Sosyalera. =)
– Karmi
Dear Karmi,
I hope by the time I post my answer, sana hindi pa mahaba ang buhok mo. Haha. Anyway, I’m not a Pro when it comes to hair styling and maintenance, but since I’m still updated with hair vanity, I can just attest to some methods I’ve tried before.
It’s natural that our hair looks at its best after going through a salon haircut. Of course, our stylists won’t leave it unpleasant but its maintenance is all up to you. Some people effortlessly fix their hair because their hair type is ‘fine’. Unlike with some people who have the ‘coarse’ type, which needs the aid of hair styling products just to achieve a desired form…

One time I was roaming around in National Bookstore to buy something. I noticed that one bookshelf contains some Tagalog Pocketbooks like the Precious Hearts Romances brand. I told myself, ‘uy, eto yung nasa TV a’. So I opened one of them wondering how their stories are written. Some people passing my side were smiling as they see me reading the pocketbook. Siguro kasi parang anjologs lang. But then I realized that the cover has a picture of a naked man with Machete muscles. Nyaaaah. Nakakahiya!
Kissing couples? Bed scene?

“People call me ‘Enchong,’ but you can call me ‘yours.’”

BWAHAHA! Ambabaduy.
